SANA'A June 11. 2024 (Saba) - In Sana'a, it was announced that the textile , clothing sector and sewing factories will be exempt from all types of taxes, in implementation of the President of the Supreme Political Council's directives.
That came during the event organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital secretariat in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry , Trade and the Tax Authority within the framework of the “Our Eid is Local” festival to announce the tax incentives and privileges granted by President Al-Mashat to the textile and clothing sector.
The head of the department noted that the tax exemptions will begin to be implemented next month and include fabrics and all clothing industry inputs at a rate of 100 percent.
While the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce in the secretariat, Ali Al-Hadi, expressed his thanks, on behalf of the Chamber and those working in the textiles, clothing and sewing sector, to the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council for his generous directives to grant privileges and exemptions to this sector.
It considered the announcement of tax incentives and exemptions a bright beginning towards achieving success and prosperity for this vital sector
