BEIRUT June 6. 2024 (Saba) - Tensions escalated on the northern border as an Israeli military gathering in "Horfesh" area led to killing Zionist solider and injuring nine others by a drone strike from Lebanon.

Zionist Channel 12 confirmed the casualty, reporting the death of Sergeant (Reserve) Rafael Kodris, aged 39, from Tzur Hadassah area. Kodris succumbed to injuries sustained during Wednesday's drone attack in the Upper Galilee's Horvish area.

This incident adds to the mounting casualties on the Israeli side since the escalation with Lebanese Hezbollah began. The Israeli army reported a death toll of 25 individuals along the northern border, comprising 15 soldiers and ten civilians.
