MUSCAT May 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice calling for an immediate halt to the Zionist attacks on Rafah, opening the Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, ensuring the arrival of any investigation or fact-finding committee regarding the charge of genocide, and submitting a comprehensive report to the court within a month.
The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement published on "X", on Saturday, called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to oblige Israel to fulfill its responsibilities, in accordance with international law, and to implement the decision of the International Court of Justice.
The Sultanate of Oman called for an immediate cessation of aggressive actions in the Palestinian territories.
