Tehran - Saba:
Mohammad Reza Aref, Iran's First Vice President, emphasized, "We are now in a state of ceasefire, but we know very well the criminal Zionist regime, which does not respect any human standards or values."
Aref made this statement on Monday during a meeting attended by the Ministers of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, and Science, Research, and Technology, the government spokesman, prominent sociology professors, and social science experts on social capital management, according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
Aref said, "The usurping Zionist regime launched the aggression under the assumption that the people were fully prepared to overthrow the state from within and would join the evil front within 24 hours. However, this people once again demonstrated their presence, cohesion, and loyalty to the state and the homeland."
He added, "During the 12-Day War, the entire community emerged, and exceptional social scenes were formed. In the economic sphere, we witnessed this solidarity with such sincerity that gas lines only formed naturally due to people's immediate need to travel. We did not witness the slightest problem with the gas lines; rather, we witnessed touching scenes of people helping and supporting each other."
Aref emphasized that we are now in a state of ceasefire, but we are well aware of the criminal Zionist regime, which does not respect any humanitarian or ethical standards. He explained, "Most of the crimes of this child-murdering entity in Lebanon occurred after the ceasefire."
He added, "The enemies have always sought to overthrow the Islamic Republic, and now we must maintain and strengthen our full and immediate preparedness."
He stated that we began a nationwide preparation program from the moment the war stopped. He pointed to the government's economic plan over the past eleven months to prepare for wartime conditions, saying, "The people entered the arena and accompanied us in the twelve-day war. Alongside them, the fighters of the armed forces defended the country well. Despite the human losses we suffered, we emerged from this war with our heads held high."
