Hajjah – SABA:
A meeting was held today in Hajjah Governorate, chaired by Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, to discuss the implementation mechanism for the sewage network project at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, supported by the Social Fund for Development, in the Qadam area of the city center.
The meeting included Secretary-General of the Local Authority Ismail Al-Muhim, President of Hajjah University Dr. Mohammed Al-Khaled, Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee in the local authority Mohsen Hazzam, and Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Qadhi.
Participants reviewed the challenges facing the project’s implementation, observations from the university leadership, and ways to overcome these issues.
Governor Al-Sufi emphasized the importance of the project, which will serve both the faculty and nearby residential areas. He highlighted the vital role the sewage network plays in improving the environmental conditions in the area and called for collective efforts to ensure the project’s execution, while stressing the need to address all obstacles swiftly.
He directed the relevant authorities to resolve any issues related to the project to allow its implementation to begin as soon as possible, praising the Social Fund for Development for its role in delivering sustainable public service projects.
