A meeting was held today in Ibb Governorate, chaired by the Secretary General of the Local Council, Amin Al-Warafi, to discuss the draft operational plan of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund for the year 1447 AH.
The plan covered aspects related to revenues and expenditures, the geographic expansion within the city center to keep pace with urban growth, and the development of cleaning services.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Cleanliness Fund, Adel Omar, his deputy Bilal Al-Bakheiti, sector heads, and department directors, discussions included requirements for updating maps, implementing a system to track the movement of equipment and vehicles, and ways to enhance efficiency and performance in monitoring cleaning activities. They also reviewed the fund’s needs for the coming year and the requirements for institutional development.
Al-Warafi emphasized the importance of preparing a matrix of development programs to provide the fund with everything necessary to improve cleaning services.
He reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to ensuring the success of all tasks assigned to the fund and to implementing several environmental projects in the sectors of cleanliness and improvement. He praised the efforts of the fund’s administration, staff, and cleaning workers in maintaining the environment.
Al-Warafi also urged the formulation of visions and their translation into actionable programs to enhance the fund’s performance and strengthen its field operations. He stressed the importance of caring for cleaning workers and providing for the fund’s essential needs
