Sana'a governorate organized a commemorative event on Monday marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), in support of national decisions and continued mobilization under the fifth phase of al-Aqsa flood campaign.
Governor Abdulbaset al-Hadi emphasized Imam Hussein’s uprising against tyranny and called for readiness to confront enemies, including the "soft war." He urged adherence to Quranic principles and the revolutionary spirit of Imam Hussein.
Addressing attendees, Sana'a undersecretary Talib Dahan highlighted the importance of learning from Imam Hussein’s sacrifice and applying his values in confronting today’s oppressors.
Scholar Khaled Mousa stressed the link between the injustices faced by Yemen and Palestine and Imam Hussein’s struggle, urging resilience and awareness to defend faith and identity.
The event, attended by local officials and social figures, featured poetry performances that honored the occasion and its significance.
