SANA'A May 21. 2024 (Saba) - Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Rai' on Tuesday extended his congratulations to revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat through a telegram.
In his message, al-Rai' conveyed his felicitations to al-Houthi and al-Mashat on the occasion of the 34th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, celebrated on "May 22nd".
He underscored that national unity signifies the collective will of the Yemeni populace and serves as the linchpin of societal cohesion.
Emphasizing the imperative of safeguarding this historic milestone, he called for a concerted effort to uphold national principles, reclaim occupied territories, repel incursions in Yemeni waters, islands, and land, safeguard Yemen's interests and achievements, foremost among them being Yemeni unity, and fortify the pillars of security and stability nationwide.
Al-Rai' cautioned against divisive agendas and activities aimed at undermining the nation's unity, security, and stability.
He urged all individuals committed to Yemen's sovereignty and well-being to consolidate their ranks and remain vigilant against any machinations orchestrated by adversaries of Yemen, emphasizing unity as a culmination of the tireless endeavors of all Yemeni citizens and their allies.
The speaker affirmed that unity will endure as an indelible aspect of Yemeni consciousness, serving as the bedrock of the nation's strength and prosperity.
