GAZA March 26. 2023 (Saba) - The Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip on Sunday decided to commemorate "Land Day" eastern Gaza City next Thursday.

According to the Palestine Online website, the National and Islamic Action factions in the Gaza Strip stressed the need for the masses to participate in the commemoration of Land Day.

Activities to commemorate Land Day will be held near the separation fence east of Gaza City, "the land of the Queen", in support of the right to return to the occupied territories.

On March 30 of each year, the Palestinians commemorate the "Land Day", whose events date back to March 1976 after the enemy authorities confiscated thousands of dunums of privately owned or common lands within the boundaries of areas with a Palestinian majority population.

A general strike and marches spread from the Galilee to the Negev and confrontations broke out, resulting in the death of six Palestinians and the injury and arrest of hundreds.
