DAMASCUS, Aug.08 (Saba) -The Yemeni Ambassador in Damascus, Abdullah Sabri, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Global Assembly to Support Resistance Choice, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, the latest developments in Yemen and Palestine.

The meeting dealt with the prospects of the existing truce in addition to the escalation of the Zionist enemy on the Gaza Strip and the corresponding deterrence and valiant resistance from all Palestinian resistance movements and factions, especially the Islamic Jihad movement.

For his part, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar renewed the assembly's solidarity with Yemen in facing the siege and aggression.

He praised the legendary steadfastness of Yemeni people, the victories of the army and the popular committees, the wisdom of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

"The nation relies a lot on Yemen's role in the equations of the conflict with the Zionist entity and confronting the forces of hegemony and global arrogance," he said.
