Armed forces reveal Al-Bonyan al-Marsoos operations, response to escalation of aggression

SANAA, Jan. 29 (Saba) - The Yemeni armed forces have revealed their operation in the past few days to counter a major offensive that targeted the capital, Sana'a, and launched a counter-offensive that led to the liberation of all areas of Nehm.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the armed forces confirmed that the enemy forces had inflicted heavy losses in equipment and lives of the enemy.

The statement noted that the armed forces continued to advance to the west of Marib city, in addition to liberating a number of the districts of Marib and Jawf provinces, with a total area of more than 2,500 square kilometers in length and width.

The statement stressed that "Al-Bonyan al-Marsoos" operation of the armed forces killed, injured, captured thousands of enemy forces, and defeated the forces stationed in Nehm, consisting of 17 military brigades and twenty battalions, and fully seized their equipment.

Two brigades of the so-called third military zone stationed in the Sirwah district of Marib had defeated, and three brigades of the so-called sixth military area stationed in Jawf, the armed forces statement indicated.

The armed forces allowed hundreds of enemy forces to flee in implementation of the directions of the leadership and to preserve the blood of those who decided to leave the battle from the mercenary of the aggression.

The armed forces valued the responsible role of collaborators from the people of Nehm and the governorates of Ma'rib and Jawf, history and civilization, and their free and loyal tribes for their values and principles in rejecting the invaders and occupiers.

In response to the air escalation of the aggression, the missile force and the drone air force carried out specific operations targeting Aramco in Jizan, Abha, Khamis Mushait base and sensitive targets in the Saudi rear with a large number of missiles and drones.

The Yemeni armed forces confirmed their continued work to liberate all the territory of the Republic until independence was achieved.

"The armed forces are not in battle with one of the honorable sons of the homeland, but in defense of our country of external enemies and its followers of agents and traitors whom we call upon to return to the right path, the homeland is expanding for all its sons and our hands are outstretched for all," the statement said.

Details of the large-scale military operation will be revealed in the coming days, the statement said.

On the American position on the Palestinian issue, the Yemeni armed forces affirmed their full support for the Palestinian people in the face of the American and Israeli conspiracy.
