"Any deviation from the law by any person or group, the security agencies will
follow legal procedures against them", al-Aghbari confirmed.
"For those persons accused of committing criminal acts during demonstrations and others, including the killing of innocent people, burning cars, looting shops and vehicles of citizens and judges, they have been arrested and being questioned. If it is proved they were being involved in such acts, they will finally stand before courts", explained al-Aghbari, confirming that the arrests and trials are not run against any person participated in a licensed demonstration calling for lawful demands.
The Yemeni official pointed out that a punishment was not applied for the perpetrators of these crimes because of the power constitutionally granted to the President for an amnesty to the perpetrators of those crimes.
For the court of Press and Publications, al-Aghbari said that the court was established according to Yemen's Judicial Authority Law.
