SANA'A, Aug. 19 (saba) - The Ministry of Finance on Sunday launched an Internet connection with its offices in the capital Sanaa and other provinces of Yemen Republic in order to obtain data on the actual resources collected and the operations expected through local and central authority units.
During the launching, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Hussein Makboli stressed the importance of project and its role in providing the correct information and data for the collection and disbursement of resources at the provincial level and the financial offices in the different districts.
Dr. Makbouli said that the networking project is one of the priorities of the Ministry at the current stage through networking between the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Yemen and the tax and customs authorities to achieve finally of networking with the financial offices in various provinces.
The Executive Director of the Project for Modernizing Public Finance, Eng. Ashraf Al-Ezzi affirmed that networking with the financial offices in the provinces represents a step on the of the political direction to stimulate efforts in tracking the collection of resources and to face procedures of transferring the operations of the Central Bank of Yemen to Aden and the siege imposed on Yemeni ports by the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition.
