Ibb – SABA:
Students from several public and private schools in Al-Saddah District of Ibb Governorate held a large protest march today to denounce the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the ongoing siege and starvation campaign against the people of Gaza.
The march, which moved through the district’s main streets, was led by the Director of Joint Operations in the governorate, Saeed Al-Wabari, the district’s Mobilization Official Adel Al-Bahham, and the Head of the Educational Sector Fawaz Ghalis.
Participants carried Yemeni and Palestinian flags and banners condemning the Israeli aggression, which they described as supported by the United States and European countries. They chanted slogans affirming resilience and full readiness to sacrifice for the sake of God and in defense of the oppressed.
The march’s final statement held the United States and Israel responsible for the crimes committed in Gaza, including the deliberate use of starvation and dehydration as weapons of war.
The statement also reaffirmed continued student activism in support of Palestine and efforts to expose American and Israeli crimes. It urged broad participation in upcoming events commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, viewing it as a vital opportunity to emulate the Prophet’s example and reaffirm spiritual and moral values.
