The local authority and Public Mobilization Office in Hamdan district, Sana'a governorate, held a preparatory meeting to launch the 1447 AH Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid) activities under the slogan: “And We raised high your remembrance.”
District Director Fahd Atiyah emphasized that celebrating the Prophet’s birth renews the nation’s loyalty to the Messenger and commitment to his message. He noted the significance of this year’s commemoration amid global challenges and rising campaigns against Islam, calling for a return to the true Muhammadan path.
Cultural activist Mahdi al-Najjar affirmed that the commemoration reflects firm faith identity and belonging to the Prophet, stressing the importance of societal cohesion to resist cultural and ideological invasion.
