Hodeidah - Saba:
The districts of Al-Mughallaf, Al-Munirah, Al-Zuhrah, and Al-Luhayyah in Hodeidah Governorate witnessed large gatherings on Wednesday, marking the launch of events and activities commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for the year 1447 AH.
Speakers at the gatherings emphasized that commemorating this great occasion comes at a time when the Muslim Ummah is experiencing fragmentation, weakness, and a departure from the teachings of the Qur’an and the life of the final Prophet, which has allowed enemies to dominate and humiliate the nations.
The speeches highlighted that what is happening in Palestine—namely siege, starvation, and killings—reflects the Ummah’s abandonment of its Prophet, its religion, and the oppressed people on earth.
They stressed that celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is not merely an emotional ritual, but a mobilization opportunity to renew allegiance to God, His Messenger, and the Quranic project, which they described as the lifeline in times of misguidance and deviation. They affirmed that the Yemeni people will remain at the forefront of the Ummah, defending its sanctities , dignity in response to divine guidance and Quranic leadership.
Speakers noted that the Yemeni people, who supported the Prophet during the early days of the Islamic call, remain loyal to that historic commitment, steadfast in their principles, viewing the Prophet’s birthday as a deeply rooted identity and a source of pride and honor passed down through generations.
They also explained that the tragic circumstances facing the Muslim world—especially the siege, starvation, and genocidal crimes against the people of Gaza—are a direct result of turning away from the Prophet’s guidance. They called for a serious and sincere return to God’s path and emulation of the Prophet in word, deed, and character.
The speakers urged that the Prophet’s birthday should be an occasion to revive faith-based values, awaken public awareness to confront imperial powers, and enhance the spirit of jihad and sacrifice, particularly in light of the Zionist aggression against Palestine and the shameful silence of most Arab regimes.
They affirmed that the people of Hodeidah—especially those in the northern districts—will commemorate this occasion with pride and honor, turning it into a season of spiritual and revolutionary mobilization, reinforcing awareness and loyalty to the leadership that represents the true continuation of the Prophet’s legacy in this era.
The speeches also touched on the weakness of the Ummah today, attributing it to submission, normalization, and abandonment of its central causes. They pointed out that commemorating the Prophet’s birthday in Yemen stands as a slap in the face of complicit regimes and a clear message that the people still carry faith in their hearts and remain committed to the path of liberation.
They called on everyone to participate widely and actively in the upcoming events to be held across all districts of the governorate.
