Hodeidah - Saba:
Activities to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were launched on Wednesday in Bajil District of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, with an expanded gathering held under the slogan “The Messenger of Allah is Our Role Model.”
The event was organized by the local authority and the General Mobilization Department in the district.
During the event, Director of the District, Abdul-Munim Al-Rifai, emphasized that the Prophet’s birth anniversary is a significant occasion to reinforce faith-based values and Qur’anic principles in the face of ignorance and tyranny. He pointed out that the people of Yemen have historically demonstrated their deep connection to Islam by supporting the Prophet (PBUH), and they continue this legacy today by standing with just causes—foremost among them, the Palestinian cause.
He added that commemorating this occasion reflects the depth of belonging to the Muhammadan message and sends a strong message of defiance and dignity to the enemies of the Ummah from the forces of disbelief and hypocrisy. He stressed the importance of both popular and official engagement in highlighting the revered status of the Prophet in the hearts of Yemenis.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed Shulaa described the Prophet’s birthday as an annual opportunity to awaken faith awareness and bolster public mobilization. He noted that following the Prophet’s example is the correct path to empowering the Ummah and supporting its causes, with Palestine at the forefront.
He pointed out that the heroic stance of the Yemeni people in resisting tyrannical forces stems from their profound understanding of the message brought by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which aims to liberate humanity from oppression and misguidance.
Meanwhile, the Guidance Official for the Eastern Districts, Hamadi Al-Alifi, stated that the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday serves as a moment to reinforce steadfastness and resilience, drawing lessons of liberation and dignity from the life of the Prophet (PBUH). He stressed the need to maintain ongoing mobilization and readiness in confronting the tyrants who seek to erase the identity of faith.
He affirmed that commemorating this occasion reflects a commitment to the path of freedom and independence, a firm alignment with the values of pride and dignity, and a readiness to confront all projects of dependency and domination targeting the Islamic nation.
