The local authority and mobilization committee in Al-Marawei’ah District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, today inaugurated the celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan: "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah."
During the inauguration event, the Director of the District, Abdullah Al-Marroni, described the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual milestone through which the nation renews its loyalty to the Greatest Messenger and reaffirms its adherence to his message—a message that brought humanity out of darkness into light.
He emphasized that the people of Al-Marawei’ah have always been at the forefront of commemorating this noble occasion and will mark it this year with greater enthusiasm, in a manner befitting the status of the Seal of the Prophets. This comes in light of the smear campaigns targeting Islam and the global challenges that necessitate a sincere return to the authentic Muhammadan path.
Al-Marroni noted that the widespread public engagement with the Prophet’s birthday events reflects the deep-rooted faith identity of the district’s residents , reinforces societal unity in the face of cultural and ideological invasions targeting the Muslim nation. He stressed that the message of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) has always been—and remains—the shield and weapon of the Ummah against tyranny and arrogance.
For his part, cultural activist Mohammed Muafa highlighted that the birth of the Prophet Muhammad was the birth of light, dignity, and honor. He noted that celebrating this great occasion renews loyalty to the Prophet's message and inspires the values and principles needed to confront current challenges.
Meanwhile, activist Sami Faraj affirmed that commemorating the Prophet’s birthday embodies a firm commitment to the Islamic identity and sincere belonging to the noble Messenger. He underscored the importance of strengthening community cohesion , resisting cultural and intellectual invasions targeting the Islamic Ummah.
