Dhamar - Saba:
Students from schools across the city of Dhamar organized a massive march on Sunday in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza, under the slogan: "With the people of Gaza and Palestine against starvation, criminality, and tyranny."
Participants chanted slogans expressing anger and condemnation over the continued genocide and starvation of Gaza’s residents, backed by the United States, and criticized the international silence and the shameful Arab and Islamic inaction in the face of Israeli crimes.
During the march, Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to its jihadist duty in supporting the people of Gaza. He stated that the aim of Yemen’s operations is to stop the Zionist aggression and lift the blockade on Gaza.
He emphasized that the ultimate goal is the liberation of Palestine, a responsibility that rests on the shoulders of the younger generation.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hadi Ammar praised the strong student solidarity in Dhamar Governorate with Gaza's plight and the just cause of the Palestinian people, noting the contrast with the youth in other nations.
He highlighted that this Quranic generation, which upholds its religion and the cause of its nation, and recognizes its enemies, is playing a significant jihadist role and sending powerful messages to the enemies—while some governments and regimes continue to adopt disgraceful stances.
Ammar called on the armed forces to intensify painful strikes against the Zionist enemy, and urged students and people across the Islamic world to follow the example of Yemeni students and their leadership in supporting Gaza.
A statement issued during the march condemned the ongoing Israeli-American campaign of murder, genocide, starvation, and systematic displacement of Palestinians in Gaza, in full view of the world and amid a disgraceful Arab and international silence.
The statement called on students in schools, universities, and educational institutions across the Arab and Islamic world—and beyond—to break their silence and rejection of the crimes committed by the Israeli-American alliance against Gaza’s children and women.
It welcomed the Armed Forces’ announcement of the fourth phase of escalation, warning all traitorous parties against any attempt to undermine the people’s stance in confronting the American-Zionist enemy or their support for the Palestinian people under any pretext.
The statement urged broad participation in events commemorating the Prophet’s birthday and called for emulating the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a guiding model.
It also reaffirmed the continuation of student activities—such as events, vigils, and evening gatherings—in support of truth and solidarity with the people of Gaza, and to expose and resist the crimes of the American and Zionist enemy.
