Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast continued scattered rainfall, accompanied by thunder, across parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, is expected across parts of the governorates of Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Sana'a, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sa'ada, Taiz, and Al Dhale'a.
Scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected across parts of the highlands of Lahij, Abyan, Bayda, Shabwa, Jawf, the Tihama plain, and the Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah plateaus.
Strong to very strong winds are likely to blow around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at meteorological stations in Ba'dan, Ibb: 38.4 mm, Bayt Bous: 15.5 mm, Sana'a: 14 mm, Mahwit: 10 mm, Hajjah: 7.3 mm, Al Kadan: 4.3 mm, Hodeida: 2.2 mm, Dhamar: 2.2 mm, Saada: 0.6 mm, Taiz: 0.5 mm, and Zabid: 0.5 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
It also warned drivers on mountain roads of mud and rock slides and of reduced visibility due to rainfall and fog.
The center also warned seagoers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
