Rabat - Saba:
Dozens of Moroccan intellectuals and human rights activists have called for pressure on the Zionist enemy to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and save survivors of the Israeli genocide from the systematic mass starvation they are suffering.
This came according to a statement issued Monday evening, signed by dozens of intellectuals, artists, writers, human rights activists, and researchers, regarding the situation in Gaza.
The statement called for "pressure for an immediate ceasefire, tireless efforts to bring in supplies and humanitarian aid to Gaza, provide relief to the wounded, treat the sick, children, and the elderly, and save survivors of the brutal genocide from the systematic mass starvation they are suffering today."
They warned of "the worsening tragic situation facing Palestinians in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression."
The statement spoke of the gravity of the "tragic scenes of total destruction in the Gaza Strip, and the systematic killing that targets the people of Palestine indiscriminately, including children, women, civilians, the elderly, and the sick, exhausted by the unjust siege and starvation resulting from the siege, the denial of access to water, food, supplies, and medicine, and the setting of traps to bomb the starving."
