Sana'a - Saba:
This morning, Yemenis performed the Istisqa' prayer in the capital, Sana'a, and the governorates, beseeching Allah Almighty and asking for mercy and rain, following the example of the Greatest Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and in response to the call made by the Dar al-Ifta and the Yemeni Scholars Association.
Citizens went out today to perform the Istisqa' prayer in cemeteries, public squares, and mosques, raising their hands in supplication to Allah Almighty to bestow abundant rain upon His servants and the country, and to honor them with mercy and comprehensive rains for all regions and cities.
The worshipers, with humble, believing hearts and true certainty, implored Allah Almighty to bestow mercy and forgiveness upon His servants in this world and the hereafter, to lift the hardship and affliction from His servants, and to remove the distress resulting from the delayed rainfall, barrenness, and drought.
They emphasized unity, reconciliation, remembrance of Allah, seeking forgiveness for sins and transgressions, righteousness, and improving relationships with Allah Almighty. They also emphasized changing people's feelings, ensuring justice for people, restoring rights, and resolving injustices. They also emphasized continued support for the Palestinian people, their just cause, and their oppression in Gaza, where they endure daily acts of killing, starvation, and siege by the Zionist enemy, with American and European support.
The worshipers called upon Allah Almighty to bestow abundant rain upon the country and its people, to grant everyone His forgiveness, pardon, and mercy, to improve the crops, and to send down abundant, beneficial, and harmless rain.
The Yemeni Fatwa House and the Yemeni Scholars Association called on the Yemeni people to go out at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday to perform the Istisqa prayer in designated cemeteries and squares.
