Sana'a - Saba:
The preliminary trials for Kung Fu, organized by the sport's federation to select the national team participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games, were held at the Martyr Hassan Zaid Hall in the capital, Sana'a.
The trials included players from the capital municipality and the governorates of Taiz, Raymah, Ibb, and Al Hudaydah. In the 60 kg category, Yusuf Iskandar from Taiz advanced, defeating Ayman Al-Shuja’a from Ibb and Muhammad Al-Shamiri. Meanwhile, Haytham Al-Jamali and Talal Hussein (bye) from Dhamar qualified after defeating Yusuf Iskandar.
In the 70 kg competitions, Abdullah Nashtan from the capital municipality won against Yusuf Al-Shara’bi, while Muhammad Amir advanced with a bye.
In the 85 kg category, Suleiman Dawoud, representing the capital municipality, defeated his teammate Muhammad Al-Hashidi.
