The Project Implementation Oversight Committee in Sana’a Governorate held a meeting today, chaired by Secretary-General of the Local Authority, Abdulqader Al-Jilani, to discuss the reasons behind the delays in executing projects planned for the 1446 AH development agenda.
The meeting, which included members of the local council’s administrative body—Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, Mahioub Mahdi, and Ali Al-Suhaili—as well as the Governorate’s Technical Affairs Undersecretary, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, reviewed the implementation status of development projects from previous years.
Participants addressed the obstacles hindering progress, proposed solutions for completing the delayed projects, and discussed the development of a time-bound action plan by relevant authorities to expedite execution.
The meeting also tackled delays in the disbursement of project payments and emphasized the need for proper feasibility studies, along with technical studies and designs, for the projects slated for inclusion in the 1447 AH development plan.
Secretary-General Al-Jilani stressed the importance of implementing the projects according to approved specifications and technical studies. He emphasized the need to resolve the challenges impeding project progress to ensure the delivery of essential services and meet urgent developmental needs of citizens.
