The World Health Organization announced the entry of 11 trucks carrying medical supplies into its warehouses in Gaza, in preparation for distribution to hospitals.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the organization emphasized the enormous health needs in Gaza and the urgent need for more medical supplies.
It urgently called for the unimpeded and widespread entry of fuel, food, and medical aid into Gaza.
In early March, Israel escalated its crimes by arbitrarily closing all crossings into the Strip, completely preventing the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, fuel trucks, and all supplies.
