The Central Correctional Facility in Al-Bayda province organized on Monday a speech event to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
At the event, Abdullah Al-Jamali, Undersecretary of Al-Bayda province for Administrative Units Affairs, emphasized the importance of commemorating Ashura to recognize the oppression of Imam Hussein and draw lessons from this tragic anniversary.
He pointed out that this anniversary comes out of responsibility to strengthen the faith-based identity that characterizes the Yemeni people in the face of tyrants, which is represented today in the face of the Zionist aggression. Al-Jamali touched on the genocide and mass massacres against the people of Gaza, as well as conspiracies aimed at displacing them from their homeland. He pointed out the failure of the Zionist aggression and the forces of global arrogance in the face of the steadfastness of the people of Palestine and the valiant resistance.
At the event, which was attended by the director of Al-Bayda city, Ahmed Al-Rasas, the director of the Central Correctional Facility, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Jahrani, reviewed a part of the events of Ashura, the tragedy and the grievance of Imam Hussein, which is not different from the grievance of the people of Gaza.
He touched on the significance of the historical facts and the revolutionary premises of Imam Hussein's exit, his great exploits and his role in confronting tyrants and arrogant people.
