Bayda City and Rural Security districts held on Monday a speech event marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Bayda undersecretary Abdullah al-Jamali described Ashura as a historic tragedy, drawing parallels with the current suffering in Gaza.
He highlighted Imam Hussein’s revolution as a symbol of resistance against tyranny and a source of inspiration for the oppressed worldwide.
Speakers, including security directors Colonel Mohammed Al-Sabtani and Colonel Adnan al-Awaj, emphasized the importance of following Imam Hussein’s example in courage and sacrifice.
The event reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast stance in supporting Gaza and resisting oppression.
