Bayda - Saba:
The governors of Abyan, Saleh Al-Junaidi, and Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, along with the director of Mukayras District, Yasser Jahalan, inaugurated the Thira Pass (Mukayras-Lawdar) road on Sunday, opening it to travelers.
During the inauguration, Governor Idris emphasized that opening Thira Pass and other roads reflects the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and the Supreme Political Council to alleviate the suffering of the people in Al-Bayda and Abyan.
He noted that war remnants had been cleared in support of the initiative to open "Al-Bayda-Abyan" road and to bolster the efforts of the White Banner team.
For his part, Governor Al-Junaidi praised the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council for their commitment to opening roads through humanitarian initiatives aimed at easing citizens' hardships amid the conditions imposed by aggression and siege.
He expressed hope that the other side would respond positively to this step, which serves the citizens who bear the brunt of road closures.
Meanwhile, Mukayras District Director Jahalan commended the role of military and local leaders, as well as tribal sheikhs from Mukayras and Lawdar districts, in accomplishing this humanitarian and service-oriented task to facilitate citizens' mobility and relieve the suffering of large populations.
