Tehran - Saba:
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated, "The aggressive Zionist regime must be strongly condemned, held accountable, and punished for committing heinous crimes against the Iranian people," referring to the Zionist war crime against Evin Prison in Tehran.
"A few days after the cessation of the Zionist regime's military aggression against our homeland, new dimensions of Netanyahu's war crimes in Tehran and other Iranian cities targeted by the Israeli regime's attacks are being revealed," Baghaei wrote on his X account on Saturday, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
He added: "Videos show the Israeli regime's brutal attack on Evin Prison Hospital on June 24, 2025, where families and friends of prisoners had gathered to meet their loved ones. They were trapped and burned under the rubble of the bombing, along with a number of staff and bystanders."
He continued: "79 people were killed as a result of Israel's brutal war crime. No person with a conscience can remain silent in the face of such injustice, which constitutes a flagrant violation of humanitarian law and a clear war crime." He emphasized: "This aggressive Zionist regime must be strongly condemned, held accountable, and punished for committing horrific crimes against the Iranian people."
