Taiz - Saba:
Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed Al-Masawi and the Executive Director of the Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit, Engineer Shihab Al-Shami, inspected on Sunday the progress of several community initiative projects in Hayfan District, Taiz.
They reviewed the completion of the first phase of the paving project for Al-Areen - Barah Asfal - Al-Arooq Sub-District road, as well as the paving project for Al-Salif - Al-Thiraa - Al-Mahadeer - Al-Juneid - Al-Arooq Sub-District road.
During the visit, Al-Masawi praised the efforts made in implementing these vital projects that serve the residents of the area. He explained that the visit reflects the commitment of the local authority and the Central Interventions Unit to support and empower the local community to be an active partner in the development process.
Meanwhile, Engineer Al-Shami emphasized the importance of motivating the community and cooperative societies to adopt, manage, and operate community initiatives, given their crucial role in achieving sustainable development and improving citizens' lives.
He noted the Central Interventions Unit's keenness to follow up on the implementation of community initiative projects in the road sector, where the unit contributes cement and diesel supplies.
Al-Shami stressed that the outstanding collaborative efforts between cooperative societies, the community, and the unit are the foundation for the success of community initiative projects.
