Sana'a - Saba:
Head of the Social Affairs Committee at the Capital Sana'a's Local Council Hammoud al-Naqeeb on Sunday oversaw a joint campaign to remove irregularities and traffic congestion causes in the streets of Revolution and Shu'ub districts.
For the second consecutive week, the traffic police, public works office, cleanliness fund, and district facilities departments conduct this campaign.
It aims to clear unsightly displays, dilapidated vehicles, street vendors' stalls, and debris from main roads and sidewalks, facilitating smoother traffic and pedestrian movement.
Al-Naqeeb reported that the campaign successfully removed dilapidated and scrap cars after notifying their owners, cleared street vendors' stalls and carts from main streets and sidewalks, relocating them to designated areas, and removed dirt and waste.
Director of the Capital Sana'a's Traffic Police Colonel Najib al-Asadi and Director of Public Facilities and Markets Dhaker al-Amri confirmed the campaign involving traffic police, public works and cleanliness equipment and personnel will continue until it covers all streets included in the traffic matrix.
