On Tuesday, June 25, 2025, the Public Prosecution and the Security Department of Ibb Governorate honored officers and members of the Security Belt Emergency Forces in recognition of their security efforts in seizing drugs and smuggled goods. This honoring coincided with International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Officials, including the Head of the Appeals Prosecution, Judge Abdulrahman Al-Nazili, and the Deputy Director of Security, Brigadier General Hamid Al-Razihi, praised the forces' efforts in maintaining security and preventing smuggling. They emphasized the importance of this honor in boosting individual morale and enhancing security performance.
Colonel Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaghdari, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate, also emphasized the need for concerted efforts to combat drugs, which threaten the country's future.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation and symbolic sums of money to the honorees, in the presence of a number of security and judicial leaders.
