Sana’a – Saba:
Researcher Maimouna Ahmed Fatini Abu Hadi has been awarded a PhD in Educational Psychological Counseling from the Department of Educational Psychology at the College of Education, Sana’a University. Her dissertation was titled “The Effectiveness of a Counseling Program to Reduce Anxiety and Depression in Children with Leukemia at Kuwait Hospital in the Capital Sana’a.”
The discussion and evaluation committee was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Abdullah al-Dumaini, external examiner from Amran University. Members included the thesis supervisor, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah al-Sufi, and internal examiner, Dr. Umma al-Razzaq Mohammed al-Washli.
The committee praised the quality and findings of the thesis and recommended its publication and distribution to universities and research institutions.
The defense was attended by several academics, social figures, researchers, colleagues, and members of the researcher's family.
