Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kamil revealed that the Zionist enemy forces are committing daily crimes against the Palestinian people in the Tulkarm Governorate. These crimes include the theft of money and valuables from homes during raids, in addition to humiliating practices against citizens during arrests and detentions.
In a press statement issued Tuesday morning, Kamil emphasized that these violations are no longer limited to destruction, vandalism, and the demolition of homes, but have now also included organized theft and deliberate humiliation, in a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and a direct targeting of the dignity and steadfastness of the Palestinian people, amid the ongoing enemy aggression.
He called on the international community, human rights, and humanitarian organizations, to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities and urgently intervene to stop these crimes and hold the enemy accountable for its violations.
He pointed out that the enemy is exploiting the international community's preoccupation with the ongoing events in the region to escalate its aggression against the West Bank, particularly in the Tulkarm Governorate, amidst a disturbing international silence.
He emphasized that the Palestinian people will not surrender to these practices, and that the competent authorities in the governorate continue to document the violations and submit them to human rights organizations. He called on the media to shed light on these crimes and convey the voice of our people to the world.
