Mohammad Reza Rezai Koji, Chairman of the Civil Affairs and Construction Committee in the Iranian Parliament, confirmed that: "This is not the first time the Americans have been defeated by us. We have learned how to resist, and today, thanks to the resistance of the people, we have been able to defeat the enemy."
Rezaei Koji said in a televised speech on Tuesday morning, "This is not the first time the Americans have been defeated by us. Their attempt in 1979 was to keep the Shah in Iran, but they failed. After that, they tried to stop the Islamic Revolution and resorted to terrorizing the oppressed Iranian people, but they failed again. Then they imposed an eight-year war on us, and they were defeated there as well."
He said, "We have learned to persevere, and today, thanks to the people's steadfastness, we have been able to defeat the enemy. We have formed a strong front within the country, and we have been able to defeat the enemy."
He emphasized, "We must provide adequate support and assistance to the armed forces. We recently held a meeting with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development and her deputies to ensure the smooth flow of goods in the country. The Council has developed a plan to support drivers and improve their insurance status, which will be reviewed by the Council soon."
