CNN reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump informed senior Republicans in Congress in advance of plans to strike Iran's nuclear sites, without notifying the Democratic Party.
The network, citing unnamed informed sources, reported that "President Donald Trump and his team communicated with senior Republicans in Congress before carrying out the strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, while they did not inform senior Democrats of the plans until after the attack was carried out and the bombs were dropped."
