The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of more than 45 citizens and the injury of hundreds, including dozens in critical condition, as a result of a new massacre perpetrated by the Israeli enemy this morning, Tuesday, against those waiting for aid at the Tahlia roundabout in Khan Yunis Governorate.
The ministry said, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the Nasser Medical Complex received the bodies of more than 45 martyrs and hundreds of wounded, noting that this is a preliminary toll of the number of martyrs and wounded.
It stated that emergency departments, intensive care units, and operating rooms are severely overcrowded with the large number of casualties and deaths.
It noted that medical teams are operating with limited supplies of life-saving medicines and medical supplies.
The Ministry of Health renewed its urgent appeal to all concerned parties to increase emergency medical supplies.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced yesterday, Monday, that the total number of "livelihood" martyrs who arrived at hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution has risen to 338, with more than 2,831 wounded, since May 27.
