The Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced on Monday that they had carried out a well-planned ambush against an enemy Merkava tank in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis.
Commander Abu Khaled, spokesman for the Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, said in a military statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "One of our combat groups ambushed an enemy Merkava tank in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis, and detonated a highly explosive device, damaging the tank and wounding its crew. Our group returned safely to its positions."
