Salfit – Saba:
A group of Zionist settlers cut down more than 100 olive trees in the eastern part of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit in Palestine, on Saturday.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), the mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan, Ibrahim Asi, said, "Zionist settlers cut down and vandalized more than 100 olive trees owned by Palestinian citizen Muhannad Sufyan Rayyan, in a new attack that is part of a series of ongoing attacks against lands and farmers in the town."
In a related development, a group of settlers assaulted Palestinian citizen Nasser Faraj Naji, from the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit, while he was working on his land in the northern part of the town. He sustained injuries and was subsequently transferred to the government hospital in Salfit for treatment.
The settlers also attempted to set fire to an agricultural room owned by Palestinian citizen Ahmed Muhammad Ali.
