Residents of al-Najd village in Bani al-Sayyagh sub-district of al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah district Sana'a governorate have launched a community initiative to pave a 700-meter road. This vital road will connect al-Najd to Bayt Yafa' village, extending towards Bani Matar district.
The project is being implemented through a collaborative effort, with support from the Central Interventions Unit (CIU) providing cement and diesel, complemented by significant community contributions in stone cutting, construction, and paving labor. Bani al-Sayyagh Development Association supervises the initiative, working in coordination with the district's local council leadership.
District Director Kamal al-Askari stated that this initiative is part of a broader series of cooperative projects across the district, in line with directives from the Revolution Leader and the President of the Supreme Political Council to foster community-led development and alleviate local suffering.
He emphasized that road projects are a priority for local authorities, aiming to ease transportation burdens for citizens.
Citizens expressed gratitude for the initiative, which is expected to benefit over six thousand people, highlighting the integrated efforts of local authorities, the CIU, and cooperative societies.
