Paris – Saba:
The French anti-terrorism prosecutor's office has opened an investigation against two French-Israelis on charges of complicity in genocide and crimes against humanity, an informed source told Agence France-Presse on Friday.
The agency explained, citing the source, that the suspects are suspected of participating in actions to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip between January and May 2024.
These investigations follow a complaint filed in November of last year by the French-Jewish Union for Peace (UFJP) and a French-Palestinian victim.
The lawsuit included accusations of "organizing and participating in concrete activities to prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid, particularly by physically blocking trucks from passing through crossings controlled by the Israeli military."
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing crimes of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 54,677 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 125,530 others, as of yesterday, Thursday.
This is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
