Singapore – SABA:
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated that the genocide being committed by the Israeli enemy in Gaza is a test of the world’s collective conscience.
This came during a speech he delivered on Saturday at the Asia Security and Defense Summit held in Singapore.
Ibrahim affirmed that the world is currently witnessing the highest levels of armed conflict since World War II, citing the genocide in Gaza, and the situations in Ukraine, Myanmar, and Sudan.
He added, “The genocide in Gaza is a test of our collective conscience.”
He continued, “The scale of destruction, the blatant violation of humanitarian standards, and the undermining of the institutions meant to uphold these standards demand more than sympathy — what is required now is resolve and action.”
