Tulkarm – Saba:
The Israeli army's aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp has now entered its 125th consecutive day, while the aggression on Nur Shams camp has lasted 112 days, amidst ongoing military escalation and reinforcements.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that Israeli forces continue to deploy military reinforcements towards the city, its two camps, and surrounding areas, accompanied by intense movement of vehicles and infantry patrols along main streets and neighborhoods.
These patrols are reportedly disrupting civilian movement, with soldiers sounding horns provocatively and driving against traffic. Checkpoints have also been established, particularly in the market center, Nablus Street, and around the Martyr Thabet Thabet Government Hospital, where citizens and vehicles face stops, searches, interrogation, and abuse.
This morning, Israeli forces arrested Abd Abu Libdeh, a resident of Nur Shams camp, after raiding his home in Tulkarm.
Israeli occupation forces also conducted raids on several homes in Dhahrat Akbariya neighborhood in al-Shuweika suburb, north of the city, belonging to the Abu Hish, al-Zaghal, and al-Anbas families.
They allegedly vandalized property and stole cash and checks from the home of Asem Abu Hish, also arresting Amir Awfi.
Concurrently, a tight siege remains imposed on Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, punctuated by intermittent gunfire and explosions. Heavy Israeli enemy military vehicles and infantry enemy units are deployed, reportedly pursuing and detaining residents attempting to reach their homes.
Over the past two weeks, Nur Shams camp has been the site of a demolition campaign affecting over 20 residential buildings and damaging adjacent structures. This is reportedly part of an Israeli plan to demolish 106 buildings across both camps (58 in Tulkarm camp and 48 in Nur Shams camp) to open roads and alter the area's geography.
In the last two days, Israeli forces have intensified their actions against residents of Tulkarm camp, obstructing their access to homes slated for demolition and confiscating belongings despite prior coordination. Several residents have been prevented from entering, while live ammunition has been fired randomly to intimidate them.
Israeli enemy forces have issued immediate demolition orders for 58 buildings in the camp, encompassing over 250 housing units, and announced that only four entry and exit points will be permitted, with residents given a mere three hours to evacuate.
Israeli enemy forces also continue to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, forcibly evacuating residents and converting the properties into military outposts, some for over three months.
Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has sustained significant damage due to intermittent earth mounds placed by Israeli forces months ago, severely hindering vehicle traffic and exacerbating the suffering of residents.
The ongoing aggression has reportedly resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women (one pregnant). Dozens have been wounded and detained, and widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles has occurred through demolition, arson, and looting.
The enemy aggression has displaced over 4,200 families (more than 25,000 people) from the two camps, led to the complete destruction of over 400 homes, and the partial destruction of 2,573 others. Entrances and alleys of the camps have been sealed off with earth mounds, effectively isolating them.
