Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Eng. Maeen al-Mahaqeri on Monday discussed the services of the Unified Investment Platform "Nafida" with the General Investment Authority.
The platform, explained by Chairman Yasser al-Mansour, will offer 190 services through a single window, gradually integrating with government agencies to speed up approvals and permits for investors. A services guide was developed with the Ministry of Civil Service.
Minister al-Mahaqeri praised the platform as part of the government's economic stimulus to streamline public procedures through digitalization. He emphasized its importance in improving the business environment and complementing the Investment Law. He stressed the need to quickly connect the platform with all relevant agencies and launch its services.
The Minister noted that the Ministry of Economy already provides all 76 of its services electronically and is launching the "Yemen Barcode" platform for national products and "Motamad platform for e-stores, offering free services to small businesses and productive families.
