Hodeida - Saba:
The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in Hodeida governorate held on Monday a closing ceremony, marking the successful completion of this year's summer programs.
Dr. Radwan al-Rubai, Minister of Agriculture and a member of the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities, praised the courses as an integrated national educational project rooted in the Quranic methodology, aimed at cultivating a conscious generation resistant to destructive ideologies.
He highlighted their role in building knowledge and spirituality through a comprehensive curriculum encompassing religious studies, critical thinking, practical activities, and cultural awareness, thereby strengthening correct faith concepts among youth.
Minister al-Rubai noted the widespread participation as indicative of growing awareness of the courses' importance in developing young people's knowledge and protecting them from soft war. He lauded the dedication of teachers and supervisors.
Governor Abdullah Atifi emphasized that the success of the summer activities embodies the directives of the revolution's leader to build Quranic generations connected to their culture and identity, away from Westernization.
He appreciated the support of parents and the community and called for strengthening this educational approach by linking students with religious centers.
Governor Atifi stated that criticism of the summer schools reflects opponents' concern over a project that immunizes youth with Quranic principles.
He highlighted the courses' pivotal role in providing beneficial and engaging activities during the summer vacation, including Quran memorization, arts, and skill development.
The Governor affirmed that these courses will remain a fundamental educational resource, creating resilient generations grounded in their faith and national responsibility, and acting as a defense against foreign cultures.
Students at the ceremony expressed their gratitude for the courses, which have enhanced their awareness and connection to their faith.
The event included performances showcasing the students' achievements and was attended by a large number of officials, educators, and students. The report noted that over 154,000 students participated this year across 1,450 centers.
