Kursk - Saba:
Twelve civilians were injured in intensive shelling by Ukrainian forces targeting the town of Sudzha in Russia's Kursk region.
Acting Governor of Kursk Oblast, Alexander Khestkain, wrote on his Telegram channel on Thursday: "Ukrainian forces heavily shelled the town of Sudzha, targeting the Kursk-Rylsk highway, which serves as an entrance to the town."
He added, "Unfortunately, the attack resulted in injuries to 12 civilians, including two children aged 13 and 16. Among the injured are seven women and three men."
Khestkain noted that, according to preliminary information, the shelling damaged four cars, a residential building, and two private houses. Repair teams will begin work as soon as the operational situation allows.
Ukrainian forces have been conducting near-daily attacks on populated Russian border areas in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov regions, and the Crimean Peninsula, using drones and missiles in an attempt to spread panic and undermine civilian morale.
