Paris – Saba:
The French Foreign Ministry called on the Israeli government on Thursday to halt the genocide in the Gaza Strip and allow unhindered access for humanitarian aid.
The ministry said it "may take concrete measures, including sanctions," if the Israeli enemy does not respond to these demands, according to the Palestine Today News Agency.
France expressed its full support for the mediation efforts led by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
These developments come amid escalating tensions in the region, with the Gaza Strip facing a worsening humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing genocide in the Strip and the continued blockade of aid, raising growing international concern about the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
Furthermore, the French Foreign Ministry announced the summoning of the Israeli ambassador to Paris following a shooting incident on Wednesday that targeted diplomats, including French nationals, during their visit to the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
