Seoul - (Saba):
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on Thursday that North Korea fired several cruise missiles towards the East Sea.
Yonhap News Agency quoted the Joint Chiefs of Staff as saying: "It detected the launches around 9:00 a.m. from the Sondok area in South Hamgyong Province... noting that intelligence authorities in South Korea and the United States are conducting a detailed analysis."
This is the latest missile launch by Pyongyang, after it launched several short-range ballistic missiles towards the East Sea on May 8.
