During a session in the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday, Italian opposition parties condemned the Israeli occupation's practices in the Gaza Strip and demanded that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni appear before Parliament.
Deputies from the Democratic Party, the Five Star Movement, and the Left-Green Alliance participated in the protests.
Democratic Party MP Laura Boldrini announced a vote tomorrow on a joint opposition motion regarding the situation in Gaza, requesting the Prime Minister's presence to deliver a speech.
For his part, Left-Green Alliance MP Marco Grimaldi said, "What is happening in Gaza is genocide," calling for the suspension of all activities with the Israeli occupation.
