Tehran - SABA:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi asserted that his country considers uranium enrichment "absolutely non-negotiable," describing U.S. positions in nuclear talks as "completely illogical and unreasonable."
In press statements on Tuesday, Araqchi declared: "We entered negotiations to defend our principles and positions that safeguard the Iranian people's rights. We will never compromise these rights under any circumstances."
When asked about scheduling the fifth round of indirect U.S.-Iran talks, Araqchi responded: "A date has been proposed, but we haven't yet accepted it."
The Iranian diplomat added: "We're currently evaluating the matter and hope rationality will prevail in American positions."
